Paul Zhan
EXTERIOR/INTERIOR DESIGNER
Paul studied Architectural Design in South China University of Technology. After working many years in the Architectural, Interior and Graphic Design industry, he realised that his true passion was for Interior Design. He established and operated a successful interior Design firm in Guangzhou for four years before coming to Canada.
As Paul loves western culture and he has chosen to star a new life in Vancouver. Upon arriving to Vancouver, he studied in the BCIT Building Design program so he can learn some local methods and standards of design and construction.
Paul’s second love to design would be photography. In fact he spent the end of the year 2000 travelling from South China to Tibet and taking photos along the way.
Jay Pooke
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Jay has had the design “bug” going back to his grandfather who built houses. He appreciates the work and effort that goes into designing and building. What drives Jay is the poetry seeing things come together and “the feeling” afterwards that is shared by the homeowner, the builders and the designers. A pride. A joy. A sense of accomplishment.
Designing great spaces and detailing are hallmarks of Jay’s contribution to the whole process at VictorEric. With 14 years of custom millwork detailing experience at hand he enjoys rising to the challenge to translate the clients vision into their dream space. Creating smiles is another way of the reason for what Jay likes to do.
That appreciation now extends into collecting Art and vintage furniture. His dream is to build the dream home for his family just like his grandfather. He can be seen tooling around town in his treasured convertible that he has had for 20 years.
Grace Lui
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Grace is an interior designer with international experience in large commercial projects and returned to her birthplace Vancouver to continue her professional passion after working for large design companies in Hong Kong. We are sure glad she did. Her international and commercial experience is a tremendous asset as Vancouver grows more from the influx of international clients.
As diligent as Grace is in work, she can also be as spontaneous as jumping on a plane to far off exotic places with as little as six hours notice. Grace loves travel, food, fashion and brings pizzaz to her work and workplace. Although Vancouver isn’t known as the sunniest place, Grace nevertheless brings a lot of sunshine to her work and dealings with clients and staff.
Mo Manni
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER
We’re excited to have Mohd back with our team after taking a 2-year hiatus where he went back to his home country (Jordan) to act as Project Director for two of Foster+Partners projects; Amman international Airport Project and the Living Wall Project (mixed use, retail, office, boutique hotel and residential, Podium and six Towers, 150000 m2). Mohd was involved from design development right through to the construction drawing stage, and it was no small task.
Mohd brings with him extensive experience in the architectural and interior design fields including residential palaces for Saudi Princes in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region. He is technically proficient and enthusiastic about quality design. Mohd as an eye for detail and is a big reason on why our drawings are of such high standards.
